VINELAND, NJ — The Vineland and Millville communities are mourning the untimely passing of Emmaliz Rosado, a 23-year-old Millville resident, who tragically died in a three-vehicle accident on Monday morning, February 16, 2026. The collision occurred at approximately 9:15 a.m. near Delsea Drive and Sherman Avenue in Cumberland County.

According to the Vineland Police Department, Rosado was driving a 2005 Honda Civic northbound when she struck a 2009 Ford Flex driven by 34-year-old Estephani Loder of Millville. The impact caused Rosado to lose control of her vehicle, crossing into oncoming lanes and colliding with a Peterbilt truck operated by 43-year-old Gilbert Laboy, Jr. of Vineland.

Emergency personnel responded quickly, but despite their efforts, Emmaliz Rosado succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. Loder and Laboy were treated for minor injuries and are reported to be in stable condition. Police have asked anyone with information to contact the Vineland tip line to assist in the ongoing investigation.

Born and raised in Millville, Emmaliz was known for her warmth, compassion, and lively spirit. Though only 23, she had built meaningful relationships with family, friends, and neighbors. Her caring nature, loyalty, and positive energy left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Emmaliz is survived by her parents, siblings, and extended family. Friends remember her as a joyful, supportive, and loving presence whose loss is deeply felt throughout Millville and Vineland.
